How It Works

A yes or no question can, however, be one of the most revealing questions that can be asked of Oreyome the Oracle. When asking a question, these are the procedures to follow:

Procedure for a “Yes”, “No” response (5 Shells)

For yes or no questions use five shells. For any other type inquiry use all six shells. Never ask the same question twice in one day, and never ask a “test question”. If the answer to your question is not clear to you, try asking the question in a different way.

  1. Begin by putting yourself in a contemplative state.

  2. Formulate your question in your mind. Be as specific as you possibly can.

  3. After you have formulated your question, click the button for five shells to appear on the Board.

The answer to the question is determined by the number of Shells landing to the right or left of the imaginary central vertical line. The Right Side is positive /Yes, the Left Side is negative/No.

For any question not answerable by a Yes/No response, use 6 shells and study the placement of the shells to receive your answer.
